The Yosemite bouldering season is fast approaching. Cool temps are just around the corner. It's time to get amped to crush some of the great new lines put up by Paul Barraza, Randy Puro, Scott Chandler, and the other Bay Area hard men. In this video clip, Randy Puro makes the second ascent of Goldilocks (V9)
Barraza made the first ascent of the Bridalveil boulder problem in May 2009. Barraza talked about the problem on BetaBase, "This is a problem in Bridalveil facing the Meat & Potatoes wall. Not many holds, but just enough to get you by. (You can say that about many Yosemite boulder problems, though) It all boils down to a dyno to a decent edge, but you have to grab the hold just right, hence the name: Goldilocks."
Get ready for some amazing bouldering this fall!
