At Touchstone, climbing is more than a sport; it’s a passion, and that passion drives our youth programs. For many climbers, our gyms are their home away from home, where they can develop a lifelong love for climbing, build lasting friendships, and grow with the support of their coaches.<\/p>\n

Our coaches are committed to providing a supportive environment for young climbers of all levels to develop into lifelong climbers alongside a community of like-minded peers.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPrograms for Every Level\t<\/h2>\n\t

We offer comprehensive programming and climbing instruction for youth climbers from all backgrounds, ages 7 to 18. Our youth programs offer a clear pathway for climbers to grow.<\/p>\n\t

\n\t\t\t Climbing Camps\t<\/h3>\n\t

Climbing Camps (ages 7-12) introduce new and returning climbers to the basics of climbing in a fun and safe environment. Programs run after school, during holiday breaks, including summer, helping kids build skills, confidence, and friendships while exploring the joy of climbing. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\tMore about Camps\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n

\n\t\t\tClub Teams\t<\/h3>\n\t

Entry-level program helping youth climbers build skills, confidence, and a love for climbing. Kids Club (7-11) and Youth Club (12-18) practice once or twice a week, focusing on foundational climbing skills, gym etiquette, and confidence-building exercises.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\tMore about Club Teams\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n

\n\t\t\tTeam Touchstone\t<\/h3>\n\t

Team Touchstone prepares youth climbers for success, whether developing foundational skills or training for competition, through structured, fun, team-based practices in a supportive environment.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\tMore about Team Touchstone\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n

\n\t\t\tDevelopment Team\t<\/h4>\n\t2 days\/week<\/strong>
\nIntroduces climbers to regular, structured training. The curriculum focuses on improving technique, strength, and teamwork.\n

\n\t\t\tTraining Team\t<\/h4>\n\t2-3 days\/week<\/strong>
\nFor climbers ready to pursue competition or outdoor-specific goals, the curriculum focuses on advanced climbing techniques and conditioning.\n

\n\t\t\tCompetition Team\t<\/h4>\n\t3+ days\/week<\/strong>
\nFor athletes training to compete at the highest level, the curriculum delivers rigorous and safe coaching both on and off the wall.\n

\n\t\t\tSafety and Support\t<\/h2>\n

\n\t\t\tClimber Safety\t<\/h3>\n\t

At Touchstone, the physical and emotional safety of our climbers is our top priority. All Team Touchstone coaches are SafeSport certified, live-scanned, and participate in ongoing anti-harassment and mandated reporter training. Coaches follow SafeSport policies during travel and at events outside of our gyms.<\/p>\n

If you have concerns, contact our Youth Program Director<\/b><\/a> or submit a report through the U.S. Center for SafeSport<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFinancial Support\t<\/h3>\n\t

We’re committed to making climbing programs accessible to all families. Our Access to Climbing (ATC) Program offers discounts for our Youth Climbing Camps<\/strong> to families receiving government assistance. Learn more on our Access to Climbing page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For our Club Team<\/strong> and Team Touchstone<\/strong> monthly memberships, we offer membership support to those who are experiencing significant financial instability and who otherwise would not have access to the gym. Please contact Member Services<\/a> or your Gym Manager for more information.<\/p>\n
