    Ali was born in Iran before making his way through Austria, New York City, and finally ending up in Oakland. He began climbing through friends, first in 2015 but again (and for real this time)…in... 2021 when he joined Pac Pipe when it first opened. In his free time, Ali loves to play ultimate frisbee competitively, cook, snowboard, discover new music, or just be up to no good.

    Kat recently moved here from Michigan and is excited to be in the Bay Area. After working on a trail crew for a couple of summers, she was introduced to climbing and knew that was... how she wanted to spend her time. Once she finished her degree at Michigan State, she packed up and headed to the West Coast. Kat loves all things nature—whether it’s hiking, climbing, or volunteering in the woods, that’s her happy place.     Born in South Africa and raised in the Bay since age 7, l’ve been chasing adventure since I can remember. I’m extremely passionate about all aspects of climbing, especially crack and ice climbing and I’m... on a mission to tackle the 50 Classic Climbs of North America (ask me about my bucket list). When I’m not on the wall, you’ll find me cooking something delicious or soaking up the outdoors in my favorite place: Yosemite!

    Lo discovered climbing while attending school at UC Santa Barbara. After college she moved to Reno, NV to work as an EMT and did a lot of skiing and climbing around Tahoe, Yosemite, and Bishop.... She now lives in San Francisco and attends SF State University pursuing a masters degree in Counseling!

    Born and raised in San Mateo, Jacob got hooked on indoor bouldering after trying it out at Dogpatch Boulders and later at UC Davis. As a somewhat new climber, he loves the challenge of being... surrounded by so many strong climbers. It keeps him motivated to push harder and learn something new every session. Whether he’s on the wall or hanging with friends, Jacob’s all about good company, good iced lattes, and a good game of pool. He’s always down to chat, so don’t be shy and say hey when you see him around!
