Colin Wills
Colin grew up in the Sacramento area, and when he found climbing at age 11 it was a perfect fit. He began training for competitions and spent the next several years traveling around the US and world on the US Team. After moving to Berkeley for school, he began coaching for Team Touchstone in 2021. Now that he has graduated, he continues coaching full-time to train the next generation where he’s continually inspired by the tenacity and passion of the climbers he works with. These days, Colin still competes at events like Battle of the Bay but is more likely to be found in the Sierra climbing anything from boulders to 14’ers. He’s fascinated with moving fast and light in the alpine, combining trail running and climbing to complete long solo days on the Tuolumne Triple Crown, Mt. Conness, and linkups throughout Tahoe. Closer to home, Mortar Rock holds a special place in his heart and is his favorite place to train for outdoor bouldering trips. Say hi if you see him at the gym, and let him convince you to try that run-and-jump boulder!
