    Dance Instructor

    Lauren has studied Modern, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Gymnastics, Partnering, Ballroom, Break Dancing, and Aerial Arts. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Choreography from Florida State University in 2007. She has performed coast to coast in Instruments of Movement, Millicent Johnny Dance Company, Street Beat Drum Eclectic, Cirque Montage, Lux Aeterna, Outer Circle, and Wilderbe. Currently she performs in The Furies LA and instructs children at Village Arts Center. In her spare time she is focused on artistic directing, co-choreography and traveling the globe eager to share her light.

    As a yoga instructor, sports nutrition consultant, and avid outdoor activity enthusiast, Taylor loves integrating a variety of fitness philosophies into her classes to help promote increased athletic performance, pain-free living and general happiness. Her teaching style emphasizes building strength and flexibility by incorporating functional anatomy and mobility exercises with fun sequences and groovy playlists. When she’s not outside climbing rocks or exploring the wilderness, you can usually find her on her yoga mat, working with clients, or adventuring in the kitchen.

    When Brianna was introduced to climbing she realized that, like yoga, climbing is essentially a meditative union between mind and body. After a decade of practice on the mat, climbing sparked her desire to delve deeper into the mental and physical parallels between these two exercises that cultivate both internal and external strength. Eager to share the benefits of yoga with the climbing community, she shifted from practitioner to instructor. To best realize her capabilities as a teacher, Brianna remains a perpetual student. A humble and honest practice daily sharpens her mental acuity and challenges her physical ability; so that she steps off her mat equipped to navigate the rolling waves of existence with an even keel. Her sincere desire is to immerse students in the fluid experience of a balanced class that energetically sparks a fire within, while simultaneously providing a safe port to ground down amid the stressors of life. She guides her students to reap the benefits of practice by challenging them to discover the potential of their physical body, so that they can carry a calm sense of joy off their mat and into life.

    Jonathan Edward is a fitness enthusiast, free spirit, dancer, and lover of music, dogs, nature, and positive vibes. He enjoys spending his days teaching, reading, staying active with a good sweat, and making the most out of every beautiful day. Passionate about his craft, his one-of-a-kind enthusiastic energy, attention to detail, and unique take on fitness makes him stand out in the crowd. He has a genuine passion for the wellbeing of his sweat team, making sure they get to their fitness goals safely and effectively. His workouts are fun, fresh, smart, and for all fitness levels. Jonathan specializes in fusing training methods to change your routine, keep your body guessing, and making it fun! He enjoys staying active because it brightens your mood and is an amazing form of self-expression.

    A few years ago Eddie woke up and realized he was getting old. His back hurt, his hangovers were killing him, and he had started to read actual books. So he jumped into physical training and now his back hurts in a good way, his hangovers are manageable, and he’s read every Nicholas Sparks book without crying. Join him in his Peter Pan quest to never get old…he can’t promise it will change your life, but he does promise it will be fun, he shaved off that creepy mustache, and he won’t play any Drake. Let’s stay strong and functional! There will come a day we can’t do this, and today is not that day!

    Peppa is a certified personal trainer, athlete, pole dance instructor, and dancehall queen. In 2006 she taught herself to do headstands which quickly progressed into a desire to master handstands. In March 2010 she decided to share her passion for floor base inverts. Peppa stated training with yogis and hand balancers to gain knowledge on proper technique and progression and to broaden her knowledge base.

    She continues to develop her skills as a trainer in invert flow, dancehall, pole dance, load training, and flexibility. Her other passions are bouldering, ninja warrior, OCR, aerial hoop, silks, and watching action movies. She’s a two-time Neo Pole Champion, a National Professional Pole competitor, and holds multiple dancehall queen titles.

    Pilates Instructor

    Meredith discovered Pilates after a scooter accident left her unable to climb. It not only helped her recover from the accident, but she came back stronger and climbing harder than before! As a climber and former gymnast, Meredith immediately identified with the strength, agility, precision, and rhythm of movement that is taught in Pilates. She continued to study Pilates for several years even after returning to the climbing world and then decided to take her knowledge of Pilates and movement to the next level by training to become an instructor. Meredith is a Balanced Body Apprentice Instructor, working towards her comprehensive certification. As an instructor, she aspires to help others, especially climbers, discover their full potential through Pilates.

    Acro Yoga + Thai Massage Instructor

    Sarah Yovovich has been teaching formally since she was 12 years old! She learns most deeply by teaching, and she loves to learn—so she teaches a lot.  She’s been a massage therapist and yogi since 2004, when she started a healing journey after a reconstructive knee surgery that ended her 17 years as a gymnast. In 2008, she fell in love with the playful and healing practice of AcroYoga. It was through AcroYoga that she discovered Thai massage, and was blown away by its profound efficiency and gentleness, and its unique design to be healing for the giver, too. She loves sharing this meditative dance whenever she can, and believes world peace would manifest if everyone practiced Thai massage! Since 2011, Sarah has been studying and practicing Chinese medicine’s 5 Element Theory—a potent holistic method for illuminating the connections between “mysterious symptoms,” emotions, exercise, diet, relationships, and the seasons. She weaves nuggets of this ancient wisdom into all of her Thai and AcroYoga offerings, whether you come to a weekly class, a workshop, a training, or an immersion.     Riki’s yoga journey began nine years ago when she realized the life-changing benefits yoga could provide. The yogic practice of uniting the mind and body, observing our actions and living with intention has allowed for growth and peace in her life. Riki completed her 200-Hour YTT in the mountains of Nepal in 2018 and is excited to share her knowledge with others. She hopes to encourage a love for yoga, balance, connection, and self-awareness that can be implemented in class and in our daily lives.

    Taylor moved to LA from Pittsburgh over 6 years ago to pursue adventure. Now, when she’s not editing for television, taking photos, or being an aunt, she teaches and practices yoga, rock climbs, hikes mountains with her dogs, and travels with her pals.

    Rachel (RYT-200) strives to make yoga as sustainable and approachable for everyone no matter what condition, level, or body type. With methodical sequencing accompanied by intelligent hands-on adjustments, her classes are dynamic and fluid with plenty of modifications offered. Her first yoga teacher training was completed in Vinyasa Flow in 2013. She then furthered her knowledge and practice with a second 200-hour training in a more dynamic and deeper flow called cYoga in 2016. She also enjoys exploring slower paced styles, such as Yin, Restorative, and Gentle Flow.

    For Rachel, yoga goes far beyond the physical aspect; it is a way of healing by helping us to better understand and connect with ourselves from within. Her objective for teaching yoga is to inspire others to explore their edges and to leave after every class with a sense of feeling stronger, balanced, and renewed.

    Sam is an L.A. native, climber, and yogi. Living in the Midwest for a few years proved to be an overwhelmingly drastic change in lifestyle, leaving her struggling to find stress relief and a sense of belonging. She started consistently practicing vinyasa which morphed her practice from purely physical to holistic by incorporating body awareness and meditation into a lifestyle that fostered connection and community. Sam strives for a welcoming atmosphere, with classes that are approachable while packing in a healthy mix of strength and flexibility. Her focus on creative sequencing prepares her students for poses they might even be surprised to get into. She challenges her students while bringing levity to class with playfulness, sweet tunes, and a big sweaty smile. Sam completed her 200-hour RYT with Bare Feet Power Yoga in Chicago, IL.

    Greg Franklin has taught AcroYoga stateside and worldwide over the past 10 years. He holds over 350 hours of Vinyasa & Hatha certifications, along with multiple certs in various modalities of bodywork. Greg finds AcroYoga’s potential for self-discovery, embodied empowerment and transformation in joyful community ever-present and endlessly inspiring.     Rachel took her first yoga class in 2012 after moving to LA from Boston, and that was it. It killed her in all the best ways. She knew nothing would be the same. She was hooked by yoga’s power to transform the way you breathe, feel, move, and think, without any strings attached. She completed her 200hr teacher training at Santa Monica Power Yoga in 2014 and has been teaching both public & private classes around LA ever since. Rachel loves the creativity and self-expression that yoga offers, and is honored to share her practice as an instructor. Yoga is an epic journey of understanding yourself, having fun, and tapping into your own ability to be present, breathe deeper, and create inner stillness. Rachel believes class should be a space of non-judgment and leave you feeling empowered, relaxed, and grounded. Beginners & experienced yogis are all welcome!

    Alyssa has been fascinated by movement since she was a little girl. A former competitive gymnast for 15 years and dance enthusiast, Alyssa quickly fell in love with yoga when she moved to Los Angeles in 2008. She has taught many forms of group fitness classes from Zumba to barre but has always found her way back to yoga. Alyssa is a student first and foremost and enjoys taking classes from various instructors to help deepen her own practice. You can find her doing handstands when she’s not at her 9-5 and drinking really good coffee.
