Hollywood Boulders is currently open for climbing in an extremely limited capacity. To facilitate this limited capacity, we will be using an online booking system where members can reserve 2-hour time slots. Each member is limited to two bookings per week. Reservations will be available 1 week in advance.

Hollywood Boulders is currently in Phase 5 of our Reopening Process.

The online booking system is currently only available to those in Phases 1–5. We will share additional access to the online booking system based on reservation availability.

Who Can Use the Gym: Current Active Members. Current active members are those who have continued to pay membership dues during our gym closures, including alternate dues from $1/month to full dues.
Expected Timeframe: 5–7 days (longer if issues arise)
Purpose: To troubleshoot any issues with the reservation system before opening it up to more people, allow staff to get familiar with the new safety protocols, and address any issues that we did not anticipate.

Who Can Use the Gym: Prepaid Annual Memberships. Since annual memberships were frozen when we closed the gyms, we will restart your memberships at the time of your first visit.
Expected Timeframe: 3–5 days (longer if issues arise)
Purpose: To slowly introduce new users to the system without overwhelming it, and allow staff time to manage the added technical complexities of unfreezing accounts at the time of booking.

Who Can Use the Gym: Current Frozen Members. These include all members who froze their accounts during the gym closure.
Expected Timeframe: 1–2 weeks, or until gym capacity can be expanded
Purpose: To start unfreezing the vast majority of memberships. Given that we have to manually thaw each membership, we will need additional staffing to accommodate the influx of returning members.

Who Can Use the Gym: 10-Pass Holders
Expected Timeframe: Depends on gym capacity
Purpose: As gym capacity expands while accommodating social distancing or other health guidelines, we can start adding more users. All 10 passes will have their expiration date pushed forward a full year—no need to worry about passes expiring.

Purpose: As gym capacity expands while accommodating social distancing or other health guidelines, we can start adding more users. We will start allowing people to purchase new memberships or 10-passes.
