Guadalupe Elementary School Visits Mission Cliffs

One of Touchstone’s founding principles is to play an active role in supporting our local communities. Each Touchstone gym regularly works with local schools and organizations to introduce children to rock climbing. In December, a group from Guadalupe Elementary School visited Mission Cliffs and had a great time climbing with their teacher and the staff.

Here are some of our favorite excerpts from the thank you letters we received. Converted to memes, for obvious reasons.

Atta boy Kevin. Sometimes you get the tough walls, and gosh darnit you climb ’em anyway.

When you know you want to spend the rest of your life rock climbing, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible!

Such is life.*

Teaching kids to climb for the first time is such an amazing experience, and we’re so glad to be a part of the community in the Misson District. If you’ve brought a group to one of our gyms, please share your photos or stories with us!
