Lissette de la Rosa (she/her)

An Afro-Dominican raised in NYC’s Washington Heights, Lissette de la Rosa is now based in the Bay Area, CA. For 10 years, she created and implemented programs to remove educational barriers for the incarcerated and court-involved populations in both NYC and the Bay Area. She then transitioned to Human Resources. Working across various sectors, she developed experience with, passion for, and innovation in HR departments and processes as well as DEI initiatives. During this time, she continued pursuing her passion for psychology and community empowerment by becoming a certified somatic healer and full-time plant lady. She is also the founder of Breath and the City, a transformative community initiative utilizing breathwork and music for communal healing, well-being, and empowerment. When she isn’t working or serving her community, she loves traveling, eating, trail running, and making people laugh.
