Taylor Nanz (she/her)

Taylor is Touchstone’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Community Outreach Manager. With a background in creative strategy, community engagement, and experiential marketing, Taylor has worked with tech startups like Udemy and Quora, leading social impact and diversity initiatives. As the founder of Solid Grounds, a creative hub and event agency, she connects underestimated communities to resources and opportunities that break barriers. Her events, including community wellness gatherings, local maker’s markets, and a traveling popup supper club meant to reimagine Sunday suppers– all of which reflect her belief in creativity, collaboration, and connection as foundations for impact.
A native New Yorker raised in South Florida, Taylor’s travels across nearly 30 countries fuel her love for food, culture, and community. Now based in Oakland, CA, she enjoys cooking, roller skating, pole fitness, and anything beach-related. Her adventure partner is her dog, Cannoli, whose traveled cross-country by her side since college. She’s passionate about sparking meaningful conversations and creating spaces that celebrate culture and authentic connection.
