Whether you are trying climbing for the first time or still have a bouldering pad tucked away in your attic, you’ve come to the right place! We offer a variety of climbing, clinics and community events to keep everyone busy!

What is bouldering?
Bouldering is a form of rock climbing that is performed without the use of ropes or harnesses. Our bouldering walls range from 10-18 ft high. To boulder at our gym, all you need is your climbing shoes! Remember to ask the front desk staff for a quick introduction to bouldering if it is your first time.

New to Bouldering?
If you’ve never climbed before, we recommend taking our Intro to Bouldering Class. In this 30 minute class, you’ll learn safety practices, the layout of the gym, bouldering etiquette, and basic technique! This class is free to members and included in the day pass for non-members. Be sure to show up at least 15 minutes before the class starts. See you on the mat!

Bouldered before?
Have at it! Please ask the staff if you have any questions about falling, down climbing or etiquette. We are here to help. Dogpatch Boulders has over 300 problems from v0-v12, so you’re sure to find plenty to keep you busy.

Fitness
Currently, Dogpatch is in the midst of expanding but we have started offering fitness classes. Take a LOOK!

Top Roping
Anyone planning on belaying in our gyms must pass our belay test. Belay tests are offered throughout the day and are free. Our gyms are not equipped with permanent grigris or auto belays.

Lead Climbing
In order to lead climb in our gyms, you must pass our lead test and agree to follow our lead rules. You will need to provide your own rope (35m or longer) and a partner. All of our tests are given on routes 5.10b or harder. You may not have received any instruction on the day you take your test.

Bouldering
Bouldering is a style of rock climbing that is performed without the use of ropes or harnesses. To boulder at our gym, all you need is a pair of climbing shoes! Please ask the front desk staff for a quick orientation if it will be your first time bouldering.

Fitness
We offer a variety of fitness classes. All fitness classes are included with a membership. We also offer day passes for non-members.

Kids
All children under the age of 14 must be supervised. If an adult is not available, you are welcome to book a private lesson with one of our staff.
