 Self Sufficient Group

Top Rope at Pipeworks

For groups with experienced belayers, our Self Sufficient Group events are an option. To hold a self-sufficient event, you must meet the following criteria:

  • All belayers must be 18 years old or older and be able to pass our belay test on the day of the event WITH ABSOLUTELY NO ASSISTANCE FROM OUR STAFF
  • For every five climbers, you must provide at least one Touchstone-certified belayer
  • Everyone must have a signed waiver to enter our facility; it is highly recommended they do so in advance:
    • Anyone under 18, must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian
    • Even spectators must fill out a waiver

How to Book:
You must reserve your spot at least two weeks in advance by emailing [email protected]. This is the same email to use for questions. If your belayers would like a how-to-belay refresher before your event, they can take our Intro to Climbing Class.
