Want to get on real rock next weekend but can’t shake the competition climbing bug? Good news: You CAN have it all!

TBC mock up 2016

Former Bay Area residents and Touchstone employees Jen and Chris Bloch are heading up this year’s Tahoe Bouldering Competition on Saturday!  The comp formerly known as The Meyers Climbing Festival is  now bigger and better than ever before.  They’ve put in a lot of work to include great sponsors, amazing prizes, and a large cash purse – so don’t miss out on the fun!

“This competition is geared toward all ages and abilities and will be located in the bouldering areas surrounding Meyers, CA,” said Jen. “Following the formal competition, there will be a climbers festival with a DJ, food, beer, local vendors and a dyno comp on a custom built overhanging 16 foot wall. Whether you come to climb, spectate or just have fun – this is the place to do it!”

The event is Saturday, September 17th from 7am-7pm. Check in early from 5:30-6:30 the night before to get the best goodie bags! Here is the schedule for the Tahoe Bouldering Competition:

8AM-3PM Bouldering Competition
3PM-5PM Climbing Festival
5PM Dyno Comp
6PM Raffle and Awards

The $40 fee gets you a tank top, raffle ticket, dyno comp and climbing prizes! PLUS a portion of the proceeds from the Tahoe Bouldering Competition to the Mitch Underhill Mountain Fund, so imagine all those warm fuzzies! See you out there!
