If you’ve been to Dogpatch Boulders in the past year or so, you’ve no doubt noticed that there’s been some construction going on. While we know it’s been a bit of a hassle, we appreciate everyone’s patience and can assure you that it will all be worth it!
We have all sorts of amazing improvements planned for our expansion that we know you’ll love; and we know YOU have all sorts of questions about what those improvements might be. Read on to get answers to your most pressing questions about the future of Dogpatch Boulders.
What will the expansion include?
So many great things! In addition to the new climbing walls, training area, and saunas, we’ll have expanded locker rooms, a larger programs room, two cardio rooms, more free weights and workout space, and a lounge. You’ll never want to leave!
When will the expansion be finished?
Not in the next few months, unfortunately—expect construction to be ongoing throughout 2018. Bringing you all these amazing new amenities things take time, but know that we’re getting it done as fast as we possibly can! Some of the work will be more noticeable than others (read: loud and messy). Other aspects of the project won’t be as intrusive.
Will there be saunas?
Yes! Each locker room will be expanded and will include a sauna.
Will there be a training area?
Yes! The new training area will include 30°, 45°, and 60° woodies, a hydraulic wall, a new campus board, hangboards, and more.
Are you bringing back the kids area?
We will soon have an all new kids area that should function even better for little ones, their parents, and our members.
