Recently, Ben Kumli, a faculty Lecturer for San Francisco State’s Recreation Parks and Tourism Department, brought nearly twenty students to Mission Cliffs. “It was a wonderful experience and the perfect way to develop relationships outside of the classroom,” said Kumli. “Rock climbing is the perfect team building activity!”
“When I first walked in I was very intimidated, but the staff was very encouraging and friendly,” said Kelly, a student in the program. “After my time at Mission Cliffs I am confident enough to go to any rock climbing gym! Had a great time and can’t wait to go again!”
“Mission Cliffs provided the perfect environment to build my confidence on the wall before heading outside,” said Crystal, a senior. “I came, I saw, I conquered.”
