Ten Week Training Workshop

Looking to improve your climbing and gain a solid head start on the fall season? On Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m., Justin Alarcon, a long time climber and trainer at the Touchstone gyms, is offering a ten week work shop designed to motivate and train climbers interested in climbing specific training.

Justin has been climbing for nearly 13 years. During that time he ranks his continual growth and development as a climber as his greatest achievement. Justin has climbed many of the grand walls of Yosemite and sport climbed 5.13, but these days you’ll most likely find him amongst the boulders. Justin, a NASM certified personal trainer, has begun to apply the training philosophies of traditional sports to climbing and has reaped the rewards. Now, he wants to share this knowledge with you!

When: Tuesdays from noon – 1 pm, beginning July 30th.

Over the course of ten weeks we will meet as a group for a an intense hour of training. Participants will be introduced to key training concepts used by elite athletes around the world and enjoy the benefits of having motivated training partners and a coach to help guide you through this rigorous process. Don’t make the same mistakes that thousands of climbers have made before by over training, training incorrectly, or simply by not training at all.

Cost: $250 for members, $325 for non-members.
